Tom Van Lone is a long-time resident of Erie and has a deep passion for Colorado. Tom loves the people of Colorado and the states natural beauty. 

Tom Van Lone served as the Mayor of Erie and was also a member of the Board of Trustees for ten years. 

During his tenure, he contributed to various initiatives and developments in the town: 

1. Economic Development: Tom played a significant role in promoting economic growth in Erie, attracting new businesses and fostering a business-friendly environment.
2. Infrastructure Improvements: Under Tom's leadership, there were significant upgrades to the town’s infrastructure, including road improvements and the development of public facilities.
3. Community Engagement: Van Lone was known for his efforts to engage with the community, ensuring that residents’ voices were heard in town decisions.
4. Environmental Initiatives: Tom supported various environmental initiatives aimed at preserving Erie’s natural beauty and promoting sustainability.

Outside of his public service, Tom spends his time as a contractor and real estate professional. He enjoys spending time with his wife Dori and his family, including his 6 grandchildren.
